With the start of our latest Schools Transition Programme we would like to reflect on last years group. The school pupils started in October and have had 12 weeks of work experience and training, along with some fun activities including local educational trips and physical activity.  The group touched on multiple subjects that included a small introduction to construction, landscaping, employability sessions and IT skills.

Making the decision whether to leave school or not at the end of 4^th year can be tough, and some pupils are unclear about what they want to do with their lives.  After finishing the course and having a small taste of the world of work, they now have a clearer idea of what they want to do.  Some of them now want to stay at school and learn, some want to pursue apprenticeships, some want to go to college and some want to stay with us at SCE!

We would just like to wish every one of them the very best of luck in whatever they pursue, and if any of them ever need our support in the future then just pop in and see us.  Well done to everyone!
