Stirling Community Enterprise is now in Cultenhove
Stirling Community Enterprise is delivering an outreach clinic in Hillview Community Centre alongside Cultenhove Opportunities Partnership (COP). This service is part of the Stirling Community Justice Partnership which involves Stirling Community Enterprise, Stirling Council Criminal Justice, NHS Forth Valley, Addictions Support and Counselling Forth Valley and Forth Valley College all working together to help people find and sustain employment.
Our Employability Support Officer, Stewart, offers confidential 1-2-1 support for people with previous or current charges and/or convictions and helps them build confidence, skills, and experience. Support is offered by the partnership to improve access to health and addiction support services and help people identify the next step in their journey to work.
Support is also available for local people who feel that housing difficulties, financial worries or substance use are preventing them from securing or sustaining a job.
The clinic is open to anyone from the local or surrounding area – transport costs are reimbursed to ensure that getting help doesn’t cost people anything but their time.
Support offered includes; understanding the law in relation to ‘spent’ convictions, creating or updating your CV, skills and quality identification, support with application forms and preparing for interviews.
All clinics are strictly confidential and run every Wednesday from 11am – 2pm at Hillview Community Centre.
This project is proudly funded by Scottish Government’s Employability Innovation and Integration Fund.
